4/1 Radwanska claimed her 3rd title of the year and 13th of her career in beating (32/3) Pavlyuchenkova 67(6) 63 64 in 2 hours 45 minutes!
Radwanska had dropped only 11 games to reach the final, whilst Pavlyuchenkova had struggled past Medina Garrigues in 3 sets and Schiavone in two tiebreakers. Though the Russian complained she was fatigued going into the final, she certainly didn't show it in the final until the very end.
Anastasia recovered from 0-3 down and 4 set points at 5-6 to edge the first set, but Radwanska was not to be denied as she broke early on in the second. Pavlyuchenkova hit 10 double faults and in the closing stages of the third set, Radwanska was the fresher of the two whilst being more aggressive.
This was Radwanska's 3rd win in 4 meetings with the Russian, having just recently edged her in two very tight sets in the third round of the US Open.
